Introducing
Boston Adventures SM
Boston Freedom Trail® Scavenger Hunt for
School Groups and Field Trips

"I wanted to thank you for the wonderful experience we had in Boston earlier this month! My students had a fantastic time and are still talking about how much fun they had. The whole idea of a scavenger hunt in Boston is amazing and it gave our students an experience they will always remember. They are still laughing about the pictures they took in Boston and many parents have come to the office to check them out. I also received the cd of pictures you sent me in the mail and wanted to thank you for that as well!"

On behalf of the 7th grade class, I would like to take this time to thank you for a wonderful tour of Boston.

My students had an excellent time and are still talking about parts of the trip. We honestly had a perfect day. The weather was could not have been any better. We appreciate all that you did to make our day one that we will remember. Many of my students had never been to Boston before this class trip. We enjoyed your sense of humor and your knowledge of the area. For future trips, we will be looking forward to doing this once again. Thanks for making our trip worthwhile and meaningful.

-Lynn R., Hall Memorial, 7th Grade Team Leader

Welcome to Boston's Historic Freedom Trail®, the perfect way to see and experience colonial Boston starting at Boston Common, the oldest public park in America. As you walk along our red brick path, you will see where patriotism first started with revolutionary thinkers like Ben Franklin, Paul Revere and Sam Adams, who fought for American independence from Britain. The Freedom Trail® is a step by step journey through living history.

At the start, Boston Adventures friendly guides meet and greet your group at Boston Common, where we will give you an overview of the city’s historical landmarks that everyone will be seeing along the famous Freedom Trail®. From Boston Common to Faneuil Hall and the North End, your Boston Adventures scavenger hunt takes you to see some very old graveyard, where Paul Revere, John Hancock, Mother Goose, Ben Franklin’s parents and the first Governor of Massachusetts are buried to name just a few! Explore Boston Common, the oldest public park in America (1634), the site of the First Public School in America (Boston Latin School – est. 1635), the Old South Meeting House, where the “Boston Tea Party” began from December 16, 1773, see the site of the Boston Massacre (1770), The Old State House and The North end where Paul Revere’s House is situated, ending at Faneuil Hall (“The Cradle of Liberty”) for lunch followed by the awards ceremony, where the winners will be chosen and prizes are given out! This is an excellent tour experience for you and your student group! Allow 3-hour for the scavenger hunt from start to finish.

BOSTON HARBOR SIGHTSEEING CRUISE: Combine your school group field trip experience with a narrated Boston Harbor Cruise to see the city’s skyline, the U.S.S. Constitution “Old Ironsides” & the Bunker Hill Monument in Charlestown, where the American Revolution took place on June 17, 1775!

School groups from all around the United States love our scavenger hunts. Get some great exercise and have fun with Boston Adventures! Please call us today to book your next school field trip! Hurry, the best dates fill up fast. Available March through November.

Dear Boston Adventures –

"I wanted to send a note of thanks to you for the wonderful experience you provided for the sixth graders at the Higgins Middle School in Peabody. Despite the fact that it was such a large undertaking, (over 100 students and staff members on each of 5 consecutive days) it could not have gone any more smoothly. Beginning with our collaborative planning in March straight through to the last event on June 23, you were attentive to our every need, calling many times to ensure everything was just right. As for the events themselves, they were a blast! The kids (and adults) had a great time. I received many positive comments from parents and staff members.

As for the students, it was unanimous: One of the best field trips ever. Again, thanks for everything. I look forward to working with Boston Adventures again in the future."

-Todd B., Housemaster, Higgins Middle School
